Helen R. Patterson, age 86, of Harleysville, formerly of Lansdale, died Monday, May 19, 2014.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late William R. and Myrtle Saunders Gilmore.
She has lived in the North Penn area for 63 years.
She was a homemaker and also worked at Nash Printing Co. of Lansdale in graphic arts and printing.
Her beloved husband, George F. Patterson, died in March, 1985.
She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lansdale where she belonged to the Perpetual Adoration Group. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Line Lexington Fire Company.
She enjoyed crossword puzzles and was an avid reader. She also enjoyed watching golf on television and the Phillies and was a member of the Jolly Girls. Mrs. Patterson’s greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Surviving is her son Delmer D. Patterson of Chalfont and her daughter Janice M. Deery and her husband John of Lansdale; her four grandchildren Lisa, Colleen, Ryan and John and her four great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Saturday, May 24th at 10:30AM at St. Stanislaus Church, 51 Lansdale Ave., Lansdale, PA. 19446 where the family will receive friends Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30AM. Interment Whitemarsh Memorial Park.
