Luis H. Salazar, age 92, of Montgomeryville died August 18th at ManorCare Nursing home in Montgomeryville.
Born in Ecuador, he was the son of the late Luis and Felipa Oberti Salazar. He has been a resident at ManorCare for 2 years and was formerly of Lansdale.
Mr Salazar was a retired civil engineer. He was self employed and also did government work.
He was a former President of the Rotary Club in Ecuador.
Surviving is his beloved wife of 60 years Zoila Rodriguez Salazar; his daughters Monica Kriebel and her husband Douglas of Lansdale, Marcela Thornburg and her husband Martin of Maple Glen and Ximena Alonso and her husband Francisco of Spain and his son Mauricio Salazar and his wife Monica of Ecuador and 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild and his sisters Rosa Vergara of Ecuador and Yolanda Ayo of Florida.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Saturday August 23rd at 11AM at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Conwell Drive in Maple Glen where the family will receive friends Saturday morning from 10 to 11AM. (due to construction, please use Conwell Drive entrance). Interment private in Ecuador.
