Bridget McFadden, age 78,, formerly of Lansdale died at her daughter’s residence in Chandler, Arizona, on Friday, November 21, 2014. She had been in failing health.

Born in Galway, Ireland, she was the daughter of the late Mark and Mary Corcoran Ryan.

Mrs. McFadden was a homemaker.

Her husband Gerald McFadden died in February, 2011.

She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lansdale.

Surviving are her children Joan McFadden of Chandler, Ariizona, Brian McFadden (Laurie) of Lansdale, Gerald McFadden (Amy) of Ludlow, Pennsylvania, Eileen Curran (Tom) of Chandler, Ariizona, John McFadden (Maureen) of Bear, Delaware, and Mark McFadden (Jenny) of Tucson, Arizona. , 27 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers Michael Ryan (Elizabeth) of Secane, Pennsylvania., Jack Ryan (Marianne) of Strafford, Pennsylvania, Christy Ryan (Anne) of Wyndmoor, Pennsylvania, and Peter Ryan (Teresa), Timothy Ryan (Ireland), Gerard Ryan, and Gabriel Ryan (Mary) all of Galway, Ireland and her sister Nora O’Donahue of Dresher, Pennsylvania as well as one sister-in-law, Bridie Ryan.

She was preceded in death by sisters May McGlinn (John) and Nellie Ryan and brother Mark Ryan.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Saturday, Nov. 29th at 10AM at St. Stanislaus Church, 51 Lansdale Avenue, Lansdale, Pennsylvania 19446. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cem. Friends may call at the Simcox-McIlvaine Funeral Home, 532 E. Main St., Lansdale, PA. 19446 on Friday evening from 6 to 8PM  and also Saturday morning from 8:30 to 9:30AM.
