Brady, John W., age 75, of Conshohocken and formerly a lifelong resident of Philadelphia died Sunday morning, November 23, 2014. He had been in failing health.
Born in Philadelphia he was the son of the late Patrick and Mildred (Gallagher) Brady. He was a member of the Teamsters Union and was a longtime employee of the Philadelphia Inquirer.
He is survived by his two sons, John (Joanne) and Christopher (Anna) and two daughters, Mary Brady and Alexandra “Alex” Matcham (Mark), two brothers, Patrick and Thomas and a sister Mildred Nevins as well as 7 grandchildren; Robert, John III, Stephanie, Caroline, Eric, Jaxon, and Anna. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Frannie.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at 11:00 AM at St. Matthews Catholic Church, 219 Fayette St., Conshohocken, PA. 19428, where the family will receive friends from 10 to 11 AM Tuesday morning in Church before Mass. Interment Private.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in John’s name may be made to benefit the families of Mike Duskins and Riley Stephens (Mike and Riley were Green Berets who gave their lives fighting for Freedom in Afghanistan).
