Mary M. Lawson, age 93, of St. Mary Manor in Lansdale died Sunday, December 7, 2014.  She was the beloved wife of 57 years of Paul Lawson who died in May of 1998.  Born in Philadelphia on April 6, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Elizabeth (nee. Russo) Maselli.

She worked as a licensed beautician and in retail sales at various pharmacies in Lansdale.  Prior to her illness she helped to manage the York Manor Apartments.  Mrs. Lawson was a gifted seamstress and crafts person.  She was known for her beautiful handcrafted Christmas ornaments that adorned her Christmas tree every year.  Mrs. Lawson was an excellent cook and enjoyed making pizzells and bourbon candy balls and giving them out at Christmas to all her friends and relatives.

Survivors include her sister Ann Tinari and her husband August, her niece Maryalene Rogozinski and her husband Ron, her nephews; Eugene Freed and his wife Nancy, Joseph Lawson and his wife Marijane, Walter Lawson and his wife Betty and Gordon Lawson and his wife Barbara as well as many great nieces and great nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 11 AM at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 51 Lansdale Ave, Lansdale, PA. 19446, where the family will receive friends from 10 to 11 AM in Church, before Mass.  Interment St. Stanislaus Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Mary’s name to St. Stanislaus Catholic Church (address above).
