Lillian M. Ragusa, age 93, of Norristown and Collegeville died on Sunday, December 14th
at St. Mary Manor, Lansdale.
Born in Norristown, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Rose Deleberta Mandracchia.
She has been a resident at St. Mary Manor in Lansdale for 3 years.
Mrs. Ragusa worked as a seamstress at the Sescon Textile Co. formerly located in Norristown
where she sewed military uniforms.
Her beloved husband, Thomas C. Ragusa, died on September 9, 2003.
She was a longtime devoted member of Holy Saviour Catholic Church in Norristown. She was also a member of MSS Lodge in Norristown which stands for Maria Santissima del Soccorsa di Sciacca Lodge in Norristown.
Surviving are her two daughters Mary L. Boccella, widow of the late Samuel of W. Norriton and Rosalie R. Tronoski of Collegeville, her son Charles T. Ragusa and his wifeDonna of E. Norriton, 8 grandchildren Sammy, Charlene, Tommy, Tammy, Jackie, Cassandra, Tommy and Barbara Jane, 18 great grandchildren and her sister Frances DiGiacomo and her husband Rudolph of Plymouth Meeting.
She was preceded in death by her sisters Josephine Tornetta and Mary Santangelo and brothers Frank, Samuel and Philip Mandrack and Charles and Simmons Mandracchia.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Friday, December 19th at 11AM at Holy Saviour Church, 409 E. Main St., Norristown, PA. 19401-5119 where the family will receive friends Friday from 9:30 to 10:45AM. Entombment St. Patrick Cemetery, E. Norriton.
