James Wray Kennedy, 78 of Lansdale, passed away Tuesday January 27th. He died very peacefully surrounded by family members. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years Marian, sons Jamie Kennedy, Ed (Chrissy), Mark (Linda) and John Pasquella (fiancé Jill Todd) and 7 grandchildren.
Born in Philadelphia he was the son of Richard and Rebecca Wray Kennedy. He is also survived by his brother, John Kennedy (Rosemary), and sisters Susan Jackson, Maureen Vail (William), BettyAnne Egan (Joseph), predeceased by his brother Richard Kennedy (Nancy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Jim was a member and usher at Corpus Christi Church for the last 30 years. He retired from the North Penn Reporter local newspaper. He spent his young years in the U. S. Air Force. He was proud to serve and of which he spoke highly. But most of all he loved his family, and he will be missed dearly.
Family and friends are invited to attend Jim’s Funeral Mass on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Corpus Christi Church, 900 Sumneytown Pike Lansdale, PA 19446. The family will receive friends from 10-11 am, at the church before Mass. Interment to follow at St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont.
