Robert Buracker, 72, passed away peacefully on July 21 at his home in Lansdale surrounded by family. Born in Brunswick, MD, Mr. Buracker served in the U.S. Army Armored Division. After being honorably discharged, Robert lived in a quaint town along the Potomac River, later moving to Lansdale, PA with his wife of 27 years, Roseanne.
Mr. Buracker founded S & S Quality Services Inc., a successful local contracting firm now run by his eldest son. He had a hard-driving personality, but found life balance through hobbies such as woodworking, bird watching, avid reading of U.S. military and politics, gardening, and traveling with his wife.
Robert was a small town man with an old-fashioned love for his wife and family. He is survived by: his wife Roseanne; four children: Michael (Marissa), Matthew, Jason (Carolyn), and Jennifer (Fred); paternal children: Robert, Mark, Liz, and Cathy; brother Richard; sisters: Patricia and Deborah; as well as ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He is preceded by: his parents Benjamin and Geraldine; brother Michael; sister Eleanor; and four-legged friend Boscoe.
There will be a viewing on Monday evening, July 25, 2016 from 7pm to 9pm at the Simcox-McIlvaine Funeral Home, 532 E. Main Street, Lansdale, PA 19446, as well as a second viewing on Tuesday morning July 26, 2016 from 10am to 11am at the Sanctuary United Methodist Church, 1346 E. Prospect Ave, North Wales, PA 19454, which will be followed by his Funeral Service at 11am. Interment Private.
