Anne M. Carney, age 88, of Gwynedd Valley and Ocean City, NJ., died Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Normandy Farms in Blue Bell.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas J. Carney, Jr. on January 19, 2016.

Born in Pottsville, she was the daughter of the late Dr. Vincent Callery and Margaret (nee. Walsh) Callery.

Mrs. Carney worked as a Chemistry Teacher at Gwynedd Mercy Academy retiring in 1984.

Surviving is her loving daughter Mary Patricia Bongiovanni (Dr. Andrew) of Ardmore, three grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Callery Kenny and her brother, Dr. Vincent A. Callery.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass, on Monday, January 29, 2018 at 11 AM at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 424 S. Main St, North Wales, PA. 19454, where the family will receive friends from 10 to 11 AM in Church, before Mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Cheltenham.

In lieu of flowers the family requests Mass Cards in Anne’s name.
