Anthony E. Shields passed peacefully on Sunday, February 11, 2018. He was 87.

Anthony was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years Elizabeth M. and his son, Michael.

He was loving father to Mary Ann Clemens, Peggy Dehner, Gretta Clark, Pat Sullivan, Bill Shields, Jim Shields, Terry Neumann, Kathleen Galbavy and Colleen Heiser. He was blessed with 21 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren.

Tony was raised in Germantown across from FernHill Park moved to Erringer Place after marrying our beloved mother. In 1970 we moved to Harleysville. September of 2016, dad and mom relocated to Pennsburg to live with their daughter and son Kathleen, Jim and family.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 16, 2018 at Saint Maria Goretti Catholic Church.Located at 1601 Derstine and Cowpath Roads, Hatfield, Pa. 19440. Viewing at 10:00 am and Memorial Mass will follow at 11:00 am.
