Dear Charlie’s mom I was a member of the East Stroudsburg 68 team although I was a sophomore and Charlie a junior I had a lot of admiration for Charlie for how tough he was on the field He played a similar position as myself he was so much better that when it came time for me to start all that I learned from Charlie helped me be successful at that defensive position. I’m very sorry for your loss I’m sure he was a great help for you and I’m sure he will continue to watch over you. God Bless Sincerely Joe McNulty
What a shock!! In my mind, Charlie was indestructible. Charlie was one of my teammates at ESU that I looked up to, even though he was much shorter in stature. He was an enthusiastic, loving, daring, teammate who played at a high level. One of my fondest memories of Charlie was while we were practicing for a week at Quantico, VA with the Marine football team. We were all younger and scared of the Marines, but not Charlie. We were doing sprints at the end of practice. The heat was extreme! We were exhausted! I heard a commotion behind me. It was Charlie in a fist fight with one of the Marines. Evidently, there were words spoken and actions that resulted in Charlie taking on the Marine. It was stopped by the coaches, but as I recall, Charlie was getting the best of the altercation! Ha!
Reading the other comments, I am not surprised to see that Charlie was loved and respected by his students. Evidently, he was into acting and the creative arts, again not a surprise. Charlie lived a good life. His passing should only encourage us to do the same in the short time that we are given to do good. Thank you, Charlie, for what you have given us all.
I just learned about our team mate this past Friday at the East Stroudsburg University reunion in Englewood Florida. We were just together this past fall at the ESU homecoming. The first time we had seen him since graduation in 1970. He looked great. Pound for pound, there wasn’t a tougher more competitive athlete on our team. We were looking forward to seeing him again this fall at homecoming. God Bless You Charlie, and rest in peace in God’s hands.
I have just learned of Charlie’s passing and I am heartbroken. I was always hoping our paths would cross again. He was the “love of my life” in college. My deepest and most sincere condolences to his mother and family members.
Good-bye, Charlie…

Mr. Corrado was an awesome guy!!! I had so much trouble with math and he made geometry so easy for me. He was so funny. I’ll never forget some of the stuff he use to say or do. Remember someone’s desk going out the door? Remember his love for Sam Kinison?? He acted just like him. And he cried when he passed. Mr. C, you were definitely my favorite teacher. You will be missed. Rest In Peace!
I shared the stage with Charlie at Montgomery Theater in Souderton and watched him in many other productions. He was a wonderful man to work with, kind, funny, and generous. He truly had a passion and love for acting and the theater and I am glad I knew him for all these years.
Mr.Corrado, was one of my favorite Teacher’s at AKHS ,as a student I never liked math class ,I used to get so nervous just thinking about that subject everyday ,especially Algebra until I met Mr.C . He showed me learning could be fun ,from Pop Quiz’s to his sharing his many stories ,to his way he treated all his students ,who he loved to call by the Nicknames he gave them. Mr.C I will never forget you,Thank You from the student that you couldn’t pronounce her last name lol! Ann Marie (Grivnovics) Tunstall
Mr. C literally scared me straight and changed the course of my academic life. He forced me to raise my personal standards and changed the course of my life. They say people come into your life for a reason. I am forever indebited to Mr. C..

What can I say about Mr. C? You honestly cannot tell a good Mr. C story from high school without laughing. From Jeopardy where it was always him vs the class or Mr. Corrado vs the mental midgets as he called us (sometimes we were the box people), to his nicknames for EVERYONE, to his hilarious extra credit questions like spell the Polish kid’s last name for 5 points, he was just a joy to be around and my all time favorite teacher. Heaven gained a one of a kind personality!
