John P. Jungers, age 60, of Harleysville, formerly of Telford, passed away early Thursday morning, March 1, 2018.
He is survived by his beloved wife Linda (nee. Naudasher) Jungers, whom he married in 1979.
Born in Philadelphia he was the son of John P. Jungers of Elkins Park and the late Evelyn C. (nee. Elmaker) Jungers.
Mr. Jungers honorably served his country for 20 years in the U.S. Air Force where he obtained his associates degree and retired a Master Sergeant. He went on to become a Telecommunications Specialist for SEPTA.
Mr. Jungers was an avid fisherman.
In addition to his wife and father he is survived by 2 loving children: his daughter Melissa A. Horst (Andrew) of Falls Church, VA and his son John C. Jungers of Harleysville, 2 grandchildren: Lily and Liam Horst, 1 brother, Christopher Jungers of Philadelphia and 1 sister, Carolann Jungers of Leesburg, FL as well as his step-mother, Anna Mae Jungers. In addition to his mother he was preceded by a brother, Dennis J. Jungers.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on, Tuesday morning, March 6, 2018 at 11 AM at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 51 Lansdale Ave., Lansdale, PA., where the family will receive friends from 9:30 to 11 AM in Church before Mass. Interment in George Washington Memorial Park in Plymouth Meeting.
