Mary E (Holtzman) O’Herrick, 85 of Lansdale passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on May 23, 2018.

She was the beloved wife of James D O’Herrick. Born July 19, 1932 to the late Frank and Helen (Hart) Holtzman in Johnstown, PA. She was an active member at Saint Stans Church, where she also held the title as treasurer in the Altar and Rosary Society.

She worked as an insurance agent for many years.

She loved being surrounded by friends and family. Surviving children are David and Ronald of Lansdale, Lawrence, husband of Patricia (Koffel) of Perkiomenville, Cynthia, wife of Mark Wurth of Lansdale, and Francis of Barto.

Preceded in death by son James Robert who passed away November 10th, 1954.

Grandmother to 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Surviving siblings are Donald Holtzman, Helen Haney, Roberta Holtzman of Johnstown PA, and Doris Cunningham of The Villages Florida, and Gilbert Holtzman, husband of Lynn of Harleysville.

Preceded in death by brother Harry Holtzman, who passed away September 25, 2004.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Saint Stanislaus Catholic Church, 51 Lansdale Ave., Lansdale, PA 19446,  where the family will receive friends from 9:30 to 11:00 AM in Church prior to Mass. Burial will private.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Saint Stanislaus Church (address above).  Arrangements are by Simcox-McIlvaine Funeral Home in Lansdale.
