Kathleen E. Hartman passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at Abington Hospital in Lansdale PA.  She was born on July 19, 1934 in Upper Darby PA, and was the daughter to the late Nelson and Rose McCorkle.

Kathleen was known by her friends as “Kay” or “Kathy”. She was an avid reader and always  enjoyed a good mystery novel. Her favorite places to visit was either the mountains or the beach. Ocean City, NJ. was a favorite, but on occasion she would try her luck on the slots in Atlantic City. She loved her salt water taffy and “dusty road sundaes.” Also, she loved football and was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys!

Kathleen was a loving mother to six children. Robert D. Hartman (eldest), Kathleen E. Shearer, Jeanne E. Hartman, Diane M. Hartman (departed), Raymond D. Hartman (departed), and Richard D. Hartman. She was blessed with 7 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren whom she loved deeply. Also, she will be sorely missed by her ever faithful, loyal and furry companion—her cat Trixie.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Kathleen’s Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, June 21, 2018, at 11:00 AM at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 900 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale, PA, where the Family will receive friends from 10 to 11 AM in the Church Narthex, prior to Mass. Interment in Valley Forge Cemetery.
