Luigi Corrado–10/31/2018

Luigi Corrado, 68, of Lansdale passed away suddenly on October 31, 2018. He was the loving husband of 42 years to Rita Corrado.  Luigi also is survived by his children, Franco (wife Tina), Luigi Jr., and Filomena Bader (husband Kevin), as well as his six adoring grandchildren, Rocco, Clara, Giuliana, Gabriella, Marvin, and Russell, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Born on July 18, 1950 in Castelfranci, Italy, Luigi was the son of the late Francesco and Filomena Corrado and was preceded in death by his sister, Maria Rosa Panariello.  He was a member of Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church and previously of St. Stanislaus.  Luigi was devoted to Maria SS. del Soccorso, patron of his hometown of Castelfranci, and was a long standing member of the Societa Maria SS. del Soccorso in her honor.

A successful entrepreneur, Luigi founded and operated a residential painting business with the assistance of Rita.  He achieved his dream of forging a better life for his family, and he will be remembered for his welcoming nature and generosity. Luigi was loved by many and will be missed greatly. He took tremendous pride in his heritage and carried many traditions that he and his wife have passed onto their family, including making homemade wine, pasta, tomato sauce, and maintaining a garden.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Monday evening, November 5th from 6:00 to 8:00PM, and on Tuesday November 6th from 10:00 to 11:00AM, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 51 Lansdale Avenue Lansdale, PA  19446. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00AM Tuesday, November 6that St. Stanislaus.  Interment in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont.
