THOMAS R. SMITH

Friday, November 9, 2018 at the age of 74

Son of the late William E. Smith and Mary A. (Hannan) Smith.

Dear husband and best friend of Mary Jane Loris-Smith for 46 years; uncle of Christian Loris (Tiffany) and Derrick Loris (Frédérique); great-uncle of Olivia, Chloe and Josephine.

Brother of Dennis J. Smith (Marie Salvucci Smith) and Lorraine Smith Moore (Stephen).   Uncle of Dennis (Amy), Daniel (Sara), David (Patti), Maria Murray (Michael), Nicholas and Joseph Moore (Alexis); great-uncle of Tierney, Audrey and Andrew; Gianna, Brendan and Vincent; Ava, Carmella and Michael.

Tom will be remembered for his blue eyes, his smile, his quick wit and his ability to tell a story.  He rooted for the Phillies but he LOVED his Eagles.  He was an original Flyers season ticket holder and was at the Spectrum for their victory in 1974. Tom was a long-time employee of Melrath Gasket. In retirement, Tom enjoyed being in Pass-a-Grille, Florida for several weeks, attending spring training and sitting on the beach.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation 9:30-11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 17, 2018.  Funeral Mass at 11:00 A.M. at Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Catholic Church, 1321 Upper State Road, North Wales, PA 19454.  Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
