Margaret Shuster, 100, of Lansdale, Pennsylvania joined the Lord on Wednesday, October 17, 2018.  She was born in Bridgeport, Pennsylvania on November 2, 1917 to Charles and Katherine Comfort.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings John, Mary, Charles, Robert, Cyril, Alice, Katherine and James, as well as her husband George Sr., her son George Jr., and her son Ronald.  She is also joined in heaven with her great-grandson Aiden Jones.

She is survived by her daughter Margaret Jones, wife of William, along with her grandsons Stephen Jones and wife Lori, Christopher Jones and wife Stefanie, Scott Schuster and Ronald Schuster. She is also survived by her loving great-grandchildren Caelen and Chase Jones, of Christopher and Stefanie.  

While raising her family, she worked for over 30 years at Philco-Ford and Visteon. She was also a devoted parishioner to St. Stanislaus parish since 1928. She enjoyed praying, reading, sewing, and feeding the birds in her backyard while drinking coffee in the morning.  Margaret loved her children, grandchildren, and had years to enjoy her great-grandchildren, whom she was often playing or coloring with. She would often share stories of her family and best friend Violet Benner while growing-up and was quick-witted all along. She was a beautiful inspiration to many.

Margaret’s positive and loving spirit will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at St Stanislaus Catholic Church, 51 Lansdale Ave,  Lansdale, PA with a viewing from, 10-11AM, followed by Mass.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Margaret’s name to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org or St. Stanislaus parish (address above). Interment St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
