Bernard Lombardo–10/6/2018

Bernard Lombardo, age 95, of Lansdale, PA died Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Elm Terrace Gardens.  He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Elizabeth (Longo) Lombardo who died in April of 2016.

He was the son of the late Augustine and Adeline Lombardo.

He was a graduate of Central Catholic High School in South Philadelphia.

Mr. Lombardo worked as a tile setter and maintenance supervisor in the construction industry.

He proudly served his country during WWII with the United States Army, 84th Infantry Division, and fought all over Europe and notably at The Battle of the Bulge.

Mr. Lombardo was of the Catholic faith and was member at St. Stanislaus Church in Lansdale.

He is survived by his daughter Lori Picciano and her husband Anthony of North Wales and son Robert Lombardo and his wife Virginia of Lansdale as well as grandchildren Robert Lombardo, Jr and his wife Melissa and Dana Kutz and her husband Dennis, Jr  and great grandchildren Nevaeh Lombardo, Robert Lombardo, III and Dennis Kutz, III.  In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by his brother Augustine Lombardo, Jr and sisters Gloria Arena and Lee Neiling.
