Linda M. Hoffmayer, age 78, of Lansdale died peacefully early Wednesday morning at Abington Hospice at Warminster.  She was the beloved wife of 59 years of Theodore M. Hoffmayer.

Born in Houtzdale, PA, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Lillian (nee. Erickson) West.

Mrs. Hoffmayer worked as a switchboard operator with Bell Telephone and continued working in the phone industry until her retirement.  Her hobbies included gardening, sewing, shopping and looking for BOGO’s at the local stores.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her loving son, Theodore R. Hoffmayer and his wife Darlene of Green Lane, and her loving daughter Stephanie Rivera and her longtime partner Daniel Sciarra of Chalfont, grandchildren Tiffany, Summer, and Nicki as well as one brother, Frederick West.

The family will receive friends from 9 to 10 am, Monday, September 10, 2018 at Simcox-McIlvaine Funeral Home, 532 E. Main Street, Lansdale, followed by a Memorial Service at 10 am. Burial will be private.
