Her faith was very important to her.  As a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Kulpsville, PA, she regularly volunteered in quilting, coordination of several volunteer groups, and the Womens’ Circle, while also supporting the youth through the years.  Lucille was always giving her time and kindness to others and especially enjoyed spoiling her 5 grandchildren, reading them books, and showering them with endless love. Her adventurous spirit took her to Bermuda, Mexico, England, and Wales in her earlier single days.  In later years, she joined her husband on a cross country roadtrip and cruise to New England and Canada.

She is dearly missed and is survived by her children, Jennifer L. Gravish and her husband, Rich Alexander, of Haddon Township, NJ, and Ronald Gravish, Jr., and his wife Jennifer (Fritz) Gravish of Rockville, Maryland; and her grandchildren, Henry Edward and Samuel Albert Gravish; Sophia Lucille, Riley Joseph, and Rosalie Edele Alexander. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her older sister, Beatrice (Detweiler) Hurst, and her brother in law, William S. Hurst.  She will be forever remembered for her unwavering devotion to and love for her family, her generous, compassionate soul, and her heart of gold.

Just a Memory Away

I’m no longer by your side, But there’s no need to weep;
I’ve left sweet recollections, I’m hoping you would keep.
Eternal joy and memories stay in our hearts forever,
Strengthening our special bond that parting cannot sever.
Now it’s time to journey on, so let your faith be strong,
For I am in a better place…I’m home where I belong.
And if times of loneliness Bring sorrow and dismay,
Don’t despair, for I am there…Just a Memory Away
