Charles T. Woods, better known as Chuck, passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2018.

Chuck was born in Philadelphia on March 8, 1946 to the late Edward and Emma (McIntyre) Woods. He grew up in Lansdale, PA. He attended and forever reminisced his grade school days at St. Stanislaus Catholic School as well as his years at Lansdale Catholic High School.

Chuck proudly served in the Pennsylvania National Guard and later attended St. Charles Seminary. His heart told him that children needed him and his years at St. Charles ended. He spent the remainder of his life being the proudest father of his 7 adopted children along with his 9 grandchildren.

Chuck worked extremely hard his entire life operating his own distributing business. He also coached many local sports teams and was a foster parent for 25 years.

Chuck’s brothers: John Patrick (Lucy), Edward (Diane), Gerald, and Philip along with his countless nieces and nephews and their children, his 7 children: Nicholas, Chera (Michael), Anthony (Amanda), Alina, Mathew, Catherine, Sophia and the 9 grandkids will miss him dearly!! Chuck will forever be remembered for his quick wit, constant jokes, love and dedication for his children, family and friends, his GPS memory before the google era, his work ethic, and his love/need for good, hot food. Chuck’s family will receive friends from 10 to 11 AM on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at the Simcox-McIlvaine Funeral Home, located at 532 E. Main St., Lansdale, PA 19446.  A Memorial Service will follow at 11 AM.
