Franklin Battavio—3/9/2019

Franklin Anthony “Billy” Battavio, 84, of Lansdale, PA passed away on March 9, 2019.  Billy was born on April 4, 1934 in Lansdale to the late Samuel and Martha (Stoneback) Battavio.  He was the loving husband and best friend of Janet (nee Florentino); father of Helen Clark (Van) of Petersburg, NJ, Brenda Falzone of Bridgeton, NJ and Jamie (Lisa) of Bridgeton, NJ;  stepfather to Bill Klock (Nancy) of Downingtown, PA, Tom Klock (Kathy) of Harleysville, PA and preceded in death by Jeff Klock (Robin) of Las Vegas, NV.  Billy was blessed with 7 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.  He was the brother of Paul “Dickey” Battavio and Russell “Boots” Battavio and was preceded in death by 5 other siblings.

Billy was an Army veteran and worked 27 years at Merck, Sharp & Dohme in North Wales, PA.  He was an avid sports fan, golf enthusiast and counted the New York Yankees, Philadelphia Phillies, Chicago Bears and Notre Dame Fighting Irish amongst his favorite teams.

All are invited to a visitation on Saturday, March 16  from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m., both at St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church, 51 Lansdale Ave., Lansdale, PA.

  2. Remembering Uncle Bill.. lucky enough to have him in our wedding. The sweetest man always easy going and carefree… always loved us as kids and adults …. sadly gone too soon ! Love Vin, Marty and Nick! 🙏💕
