  1. Oh, my! Felix’s family has my condolences. Felix and I worked together at American Express Travel Agency in New Orleans in the mid ’50s. Was thinking of him today so googled his name. Was surprised to find his obituary. Felix’s family has my sympathies. Don’t know if he ever mentioned any of our names, but some were Bob Gartrell, Jack Ward, Chick Aldridge, Betty Francioni, and me, I feel sure they would all send their sympathies to the family if they were alive and aware of his demise. Sincerely, Pris Bernard..

    • Thank you so much for the lovely message! My father spoke often of his time in New Orleans, it was his first true extended stay in the United States outside of New Jersey. He loved the people there and his adopted country because of his time in New Orleans.
      Thank you again,
      Melite Scherzinger

  2. Condolences to the Scherzinger family. I just found out of his passing! He was my 1st daughter’s Pediatrician when she was born (9/23/83). Soon after, I was expecting twins! He told me the plan that involved 2 sets of delivery drs and Pediatricians when i would have my twins. Well, that didn’t happen as planned. I went into labor 7 weeks early. I was shipped to Pennsylvania Hospital where I had identical twin boys on 8/30/84! We won’t talk about the fact that I had another baby girl on 7/16/85! He (and now at that point other Doctors) were my children’s Pediatricians for years! He was a very caring and devoted Dr. always tried to make my kids appointments with him, as he was our favorite!
    As for my kids:
My eldest, is head of HR at Abington Hospital
One twin boy and youngest daughter are both Police Officers
My other son has his own repair business
My children and I are greatful to have had such a devoted and caring Doctor in those early years!
We are so sorry for your loss!
