Anne Mary Bergbauer–4/17/2019

Anne Mary Bergbauer, age 94, of Worcester, PA, died Wednesday April 17, 2019 at Einstein Medical in East Norriton.

Born June 12, 1924, in Harrisburg, PA she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Olejnick. She attended St. Lawrence Catholic grade school and Harrisburg Catholic High School.

Mrs. Bergbauer married her beloved husband, the late, John “Jack” Bergbauer on September 7, 1946. She  became a homemaker moving several times from Harrisburg, to Philadelphia, to Havertown. In her free time she enjoyed working as a seamstress and vacationing in Ocean City, NJ.

Surviving are her beloved children Patricia (Aaron Ladman) Bergbauer, Jeffrey (Michele) Bergbauer, Mary Anne (Patrick) Smith and Joseph (Patricia) Bergbauer, as well as grandchildren, Patrick, Christopher, Brian, Katie, Michael, Christopher, Nicholas, Emily, Joe and Peter. She was preceded in death by her siblings Margaret, Jessie and Michael Olejnick. She also lost her dog, Kenya who was a Black Lab.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Tuesday, March 23, 2019 at Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Church, 1325 Upper State Road, North Wales, PA 19454, from 10 to 11 AM, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM, celebrated by Msgr. John T. Conway. Interment will be at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, Delaware County.  The family  would like to thank the staff at Meadowood Nursing Facility for their wonderful care.

In lieu of Flowers please send donations in Anne’s name, to the Sisters of St. Francis Foundation, at 609 Convent Rd, Aston, PA 19014.

  1. Just noticed this place to post after several yrs.! We miss you Anne. You were such a pretty lady, who always kept her home so nicely, creatively decorated & clean, and you helped raise 4 successful children. Anne was always very welcoming & kind to me, her daughter-in -law, Jeff’s wife. The story was…she met, & was pursued by, a sharp guy with a good sense of humor, Jack, at the USO club during WWII yrs.
