Charlotte M. O’Sullivan, age 97, of Lower Gwynedd Twp. and formerly of Brick Twp., NJ, died Tuesday, September 17, 2019. at Elm Terrace Gardens while surrounded by her loving family.

Born, August 4, 1922 in Highland Park, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Ambrose A. and Mary (nee. Stumph) Langan.

In her early years she worked as an executive secretary at Rutgers University.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank Shafnacker and, second husband, William O’Sullivan and three siblings.

Mrs. O’Sullivan was a devout Catholic and served as a Eucharistic Minister.

Other than her beloved family her greatest passion in life was Ballroom Dancing. She was also an avid Baker and was known for her Irish soda bread.

Surviving are two devoted children, Barbara Carlin and her husband David of Lower Gwynedd and Bill Shafnacker of Jacksonville, FL. as well as 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, September 20, 2019 at 11 AM at St. Stanislaus Church, 51 Lansdale Ave, Lansdale, where the family will receive friends from 10 to 11 AM in Church before Mass. Interment will take place in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ at a later date.
