Ralph Taddei, III–12/13/2019

Ralph “Rusty” Taddei, III, age 58, of Lansdale died unexpectedly, Friday, December 13, 2019.

Born in North East Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Ralph, Jr and Anna (nee. Fite) Taddei.  He was raised in Chalfont and attended Central Bucks West High School, class of 1980.

Ralph worked for R & A Electric, Derbyshire Machine and Tool and Allied Universal Security Company.

He was an avid Elvis fan and enjoyed spending time with family and helping people.  Ralph particularly enjoyed watching the NFL and throwing a football around on holidays with family, metal detecting, walks on the beach, and animals (especially cats). Most importantly he was a humble, loving human being with an enormous heart, and always put others before himself.

Surviving are his beloved wife Ming (Shishi) Xu Taddei, children, Michael Nicholas Derbyshire-Taddei, Robyn Marie Stephens, and Longkang Li, siblings, Anne Taddei Holshouser, Cynthia Taddei Rundatz (Jim), Lisa Taddei, Jeffrey Taddei and Rebecca Sheets as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brother in laws William Holshouser and Richard Sheets and his sister Lisa’s fiancee Wesley Dorsey.

There will be services for Ralph at a later date.  Please check back.

  1. I still can’t believe that you’re gone, dad. You were the best role model for me growing up, and I took a lot of your lessons to heart.

To anyone that knew Rusty, we will be holding a memorial at Peace Valley Park sometime in the Spring. Send me a message on Facebook, so I can send you an invite. (Michael Derbyshire)

  2. Ralph and I were brothers growing up. We did everything together. Fishing, Jerry Lewis movies, mischief (OMG), midget car races, working for R&A Electric (we were the two clowns), and dear family friend. I’ve been meaning to catch up with Ralph, life gets in the way. I’m so sorry for his loss and not finding the time to find him in this world. I will find him in the next.

  3. My deepest condolences to Rusty’s (“Big T”) family. I have many memories hanging out with him and his siblings growing up right down the street. Spent many hours helping him with his Chevelles, countless trips to the “Skate Ranch” hours upon hours on our cb radios….RIP buddy! Eric (aka “Scorpion”)

    • Hope you might be at the memorial on his birthday. It’d be nice to swap some stories including d104 linear’s and being thrown across the room holding a fluorescent light.
