Jenny R. Manero, 95, of Lansdale, Pa. passed away peacefully on April 9, 2020 at Dock Woods in Lansdale.
Jenny was born and raised in Norristown, Pa. to the late George and Theresa Castenova. She was married to the late Robert F. Manero and resided in Lansdale, PA for over 75 years.
She is survived by her sisters Katherine Donofrio and Theresa Waldron and brother Joseph Castenova. She was predeceased by her beloved sisters Mary DeAngelo, Lena O’Keefe and Charlotte Phifer.
She is also survived by her sons Robert M. Manero of Limerick, Pa and Richard A. Manero (Nicki) of Kennett Square, Pa., grandchildren Rob, Kevin, Chris, Richard, Maria and Jenna Manero, and Dawn Hager, Tara McAllister, and Tina Casani. In addition, Jenny is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.
Jenny retired from Philco-Ford. She will be remembered most for her laughter, humor and love of life with her big blue eyes and nick name Jenny Rose. She loved to travel with her sisters and grandchildren from the Jersey Shore to Italy. Her dedicated North Wildwood boardwalk bench was her favorite summer hang-out. If there was music in the air, Jenny would be up dancing with whoever was nearby. Her Sunday pasta dinners finished off with either a chocolate or banana cake will be remembered forever. There was nothing better than a Sunday dinner on the back porch on Birch St.
The family would like to thank the staff at Dock Woods for their dedicated care over Jenny’s last years. Their dedication to “Jenny on the block” made her last years comfortable. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to:

Aunt Jenny besides being beautiful was so lovable. Her laugh was contagious and that is what I will remember the most!
All the old Italian ladies are leaving us…they don’t make them like her any more.

Fly high, grandmom. You’re finally “home” in the arms of God.
