Thomas Daniel Scalfaro was born on January 24, 1994 and died on June 25, 2020 peacefully in his home in Baltimore, Maryland, at the age of 26.
He is survived by his mother, Mollie Scalfaro, father, Tony Scalfaro, older sister, Tori, older brother, TJ, and younger brother, Frank.
Born in Lansdale, PA, Tom attended St. Stanislaus Elementary School and graduated top ten in his class from Lansdale Catholic High School in 2012. While at CUA, he was involved in many organizations on campus, including Campus Ministry, Residence Life, the Knights of Columbus, and Program Board; additionally, he was House Minister his junior and senior year and the Cardinal Mascot. Tom was a bright spirit, known by all on campus.
After college, Tom was a biomedical engineer working for Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C. and was most recently working for GE Healthcare.
He was a member and leader of Volo City, a social sports league that raises funds for youth sports in the DC/Metro area. Despite his many years living in the DC/Metro area, Tom remained a fierce supporter of the Philadelphia sports teams, much to his father’s approval. Tom loved going to concerts with his siblings and friends and was an avid listener to new music daily.
