Robert W. Nuss Sr., 82, of Hatfield was born to eternal life Monday July 20, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family.
Born April 1, 1938, in Lansdale, he was the son of the late George W. Sr. and Margaret Werner Nuss of Lansdale. He was a proud graduate of Little Flower Hall, Class of 1956. He moved to Hatfield Twp. In 1968 where he built his family home. He was a carpenter by trade and a retired member of the Philadelphia Council of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Jointers of America. He was a life member of the Volunteer Medical Service Corps of Lansdale Pa., OSHA Safety Instructor and CPR life saver at a job site in 1994. He was a Construction Superintendent on commercial buildings throughout Eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware and Northern New Jersey. Some of these highly sophisticated and complex facilities were for Fortune 500 clients. Some were The Mennen Corps., M&M Mars, JCP & L, Wyeth Ayerst Labs, Princeton University, International Flavors, and Fragrances, Allied Signal Corporation and Boeing in Ridley Park.
He was a member of St. Stanislaus RC Church, Lansdale, Pa.
Bob loved the outdoors with his vegetable garden and goldfish pond, camping and fishing in the Pocono Mountains with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents George W. Nuss Sr. and Margaret W Nuss, two brothers George W. Nuss Jr. and Ralph C. Nuss and finally, his grandson Justin Nuss.
He is survived by the love of his life and wife Norma M. (Jeremicz) of 62 years; four children, Robert Nuss Jr. and his wife Eileen, Karl Nuss and his wife Pamela, Diane Boyce and her husband John, Gregory Nuss and his wife Dawn, and finally brother James Nuss Of Walnut Creek, Ca. Robert is also survived by his 7 grand children Heather, Ryan, Kristen, Robert III, Brian, Jeremy and Jacob, 2 great grand children Hayley and Cassidy, and a great great grand child Rylee. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, July 27, 2020, at 1PM at St. Stanislaus Church, 51 Lansdale Ave, Lansdale, where the family will receive friends from 11 to 12:45 PM prior to Mass. Interment St. John Neumann Cemetery.
