Frank L. Tarantino–9/23/2020

Frank L. Tarantino passed away peacefully at Abington-Lansdale Hospital Jefferson on September 23, 2020. He was 82 years old.

He was born on July 30, 1938 in Quakertown, PA to the late Frank G. and Florence (Janiszewski) Tarantino. He was the devoted husband of Kathryn F. (Clark) Tarantino for 52 years. He is preceded in death by a sister Bonnie and a daughter Rebecca.  

In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters, Monica Burcik (Christopher) and Laura Robinson (Gregory). He adored his three grandchildren Andrew Robinson, Claire Burcik and Michael Burcik. Additionally he is survived by one sister, Victoria Tarantino.

He attended Quakertown High School and went on to graduate from Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Chemical Engineering. He was employed for 42 years in the battery industry. 

Frank had a lifelong love for the great outdoors spending time fishing. In his later years, since moving to Brittany Pointe Estates, he became active in the Bocce and billiards groups. He also enjoyed spending time with a devoted group of friends, especially the weekly breakfasts with the Zotos Group. One of his other hobbies was searching for treasures at garage sales and then re-selling them on Ebay. 

He was a loving and devoted husband, father and Pop-Pop and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Frank’s Funeral Mass will be held at St. Stanislaus Church, 51 Lansdale Ave, in Lansdale, on Saturday October 3rd. The family will receive guests from 9:30 am-10:30 am in Church. Mass will be held at 10:30am. Internment will be private. Keeping with CDC guidelines all who attend will be required to wear masks and observe social distancing. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in Frank’s memory may be made to Lansdale Catholic High School, 700 Lansdale Avenue, Lansdale, PA, 19446.
