At age 90, Maryann Bailey passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2020, at Lansdale Abington Hospital.
Mac was born on October 8, 1930, to John and Rose Cantello.
She married the love of her life, Jim Bailey and they were married for 53 years. They were a perfect couple. They have a son, Jim Bailey, Jr. (Colleen) and two daughters, Carolann Baldassari (James) and Lydia Skilton (Ed).
Mac loved baking, casino trips, crafts, and spending time with her many friends. She had a bubbly personality and was quick-witted. Mac’s pride and joy were her 10 Grandkids: Jim Bailey (Jen), Michelle Ann Bailey, Valerie Kaiser (Mark), Jena Piazza (Chris), Bethann DeGrazio (Steve), Emily Baldassari (Scott), Eddie Skilton, Dana Skilton, Tara Skilton, and Brianna Baldassari. She also has 12 great grandchildren.
She is survived by her sister, Grace Denardo. Maryann was predeceased by her husband, James Bailey, her brother Joseph Cantello (Anetta), her sisters Jeanette Giannone, Bee Ferrante (Nick), Carolyn Graham (Ken), and brother-in-law John Denardo.
Mac belonged to Holy Saviour Church and she was a very devout Catholic. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and sister.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Catholic Funeral Liturgy on Friday, January 22, 2021 at Holy Saviour Church, 407 E. Main Street Norristown, PA at 10 AM.
Family condolences will be from 9 to 10 AM at Holy Saviour Church. Burial will be at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, 2300 DeKalb Pike Norristown, PA.
Funeral arrangements are in the care of Simcox-McIlvaine funeral home.

MAC was a sweetheart. Her smile light up a room. She made you feel good and when she was serious she still gave you a little smile. She was a very special lady! Will be sadly missed.
