David S. Huck (Dave), Sr., 72, died December 19, 2020, at his Lansdale, Pa. home.
He was born August 8, 1948, to Edward S. Huck and Kathleen M. (Murray) Huck. He had one sister, Kathleen Sandra (Huck) Britton.
He is survived by his fiancé, Colleen Mahaffey-Bergey; two sons, Christopher E. Huck and Craig L. Huck (Rae Ellen); two grandsons, Jesse Hawley and Craig S. Huck, and one granddaughter, Jenna J. Benson; his sister, Kathleen Sandra (Huck) Britton, and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his ex-wife, Linda A. (Christiansen) Huck; his son, David S. Huck, Jr.; grandson, Brandon Birchill; twin grandsons Dylan and Christopher Huck and his parents, Edward S. Huck and Kathleen M. (Murray) Huck.
David was a graduate of Marple-Newtown High School and attended St. Joseph’s University.
He resided in Reading, Broomall, Chestnut Hill, Lansdale and Sellersville, all in Pennsylvania.
He was a dedicated employee at SPS Technologies (Standard Press Steel) in Jenkintown, Pa., for more than 40 years. He worked full time and extended his work there after retirement at their request. He was a machinist, tool crib specialist and manager.
He enjoyed the sports of track and field, football, golf, and belonged to darts and billiards leagues and gun clubs. He had a passion for cooking which was a longtime family tradition and loved sharing his culinary creations with others. He loved singing karaoke, especially the songs of Willie Nelson. He also enjoyed the arts—painting, drawing, writing, wood carving /wood burning and was also a tattoo artist. He was a Harley-Davidson motorcycle enthusiast and he loved the history of old American architecture. David was also a Reiki master.
He was a member of the North Penn Gun Club. He was also a member at American Legion Post #255 and was a social member of Forest Lodge VFW, both in Sellersville. David served as President on the Board of Directors for Morwood Sportsmens Club.
Receiving of family and friends will begin at 9:30 am Saturday, January 23rdat St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church, 51 Lansdale Ave. Lansdale, PA, followed by a Mass at 10:30am. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, please send memorial gifts in David’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

Sandy, My sympathies on the death of your brother. May fond memories help to heal the hole in your heart. I know what it’s like to be the last surviving member of your birth family.
