George Seneko, Jr., 90, of Harleysville, went to be with his Lord on February 11, 2021, at Grand View Hospital.
He was born June 18, 1930, to George Seneko, Sr. and Pauline Todorow Seneko. He was married to Barbara Jane Boltz on April 20, 1956.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Bill Seneko and Walter Seneko, Sr., and his sister, Anne Seneko Uffer.
He is survived by his daughter, Patricia Lynn Seneko, of Harlesyville, and his beloved constant companion, his black lab, Holly. He is also survived by nephews, Joseph Halchuk of Lansdale, Walter Seneko of Lansdale, and David Seneko of Princeton, N.J., and his niece, Pam Seneko Novak of Quakertown, Pa.
He started his education in a one-room schoolhouse—Lower Salford Elementary/Souderton High School. He left school to help on his father’s dairy farm in Harleysville. After marriage, he and his wife farmed together until he retired in 2002 at the age of 72.
He was one of Montgomery County’s most successful dairy farmers, achieving many awards for high milk production from the Dairy Herd Improvement Association (DHIA), in which he held membership. He also belonged to the Pennsylvania Farmers Association.
He was a member of Corpus Christi Church—900 Sumneytowm Pike, Lansdale, Pa. 19446.
He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan.
He contributed to several children and veterans charities.Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing, February 22, 2021, from 9 to 9:45 am and Mass at 10 am at Corpus Christi Church, 900 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale, Pa. 19446. Interment will folllow be Saint John Neumann Cemetery.
