Catherine Marie Rocchino, age 84, passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 5, 2021 at the Gwynedd Healthcare Nursing Home in Lansdale, PA.

She was born November 3, 1936.

She was a lifelong resident of Lansdale. A hard worker for many years at: Safeguard Business Systems, Woolworths, and Acme Markets. Catherine and her late husband, Thomas G. Rocchino owned and operated, Kate’s Donut Shop in Hatfield for many years. She enjoyed working into her 70s at the Lamb Foundation in customer service and EBay orders.

Catherine was loving, sincere and warm hearted. She brought smiles to everyone who met her. She enjoyed listening to music, especially Frank Sinatra and dancing to the oldies. She bragged about being on American Band Stand, and later meeting Dick Clark. She loved playing board games with the family, word search puzzles, 500 rummy and other card games. She also enjoyed: her soap operas, Dancing with the Stars, crafting, miniature golf and sing along, going for walks to her sister’s house which she grew up in, cooking spaghetti and meatballs for her grandkids, and vacations at the beach. One of our fondest memories of her was making pizelles at Christmas time . . . it will be truly missed.

Catherine, (Kate), was the mother to six children: Thomas, Tina, Michael, Kathy, Lisa and Stephen. She leaves behind her surviving sister, Elizabeth (Betty) Gilbert, grandchildren, sister and brother in laws, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be held on May 15, 2021 at St. Stanislaus Church 51 Lansdale Avenue, Lansdale PA. Relatives and friends can visit from 9:30 am to 10:30 am followed by a funeral mass.
