Teresa D. Pisinski–6/4/2021

Teresa D. Pisinski (Klimowicz), 70, of Lansdale, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully at home on Friday June 4, 2021.

She was born on May 21, 1951, in Augstow, Poland, to Jan and Apolonia Klimowicz. She was one of seven children who immigrated to America in 1964 and resided in Manayunk until 2000 before moving to Lansdale.

Teresa was married to Andrew Pisinski for almost 31 years. Together, they have two children, Daniela Schaffer (Timothy, Jr.) and Christopher. They also share two grandsons, Timmy and Jack Schaffer.

Teresa enjoyed spending time with her family, most especially after her recent retirement. She was a devout Catholic who you could often find at the Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa celebrating the Fatima Day or visiting her while she volunteered at the Polish American Festival Ice Cream Stand. 


She is survived by her loving husband Andrew, children, Daniela Schaffer (Timothy, Jr.) and Christopher, grandsons Timmy and Jack, siblings Marta Kot (Joseph), Zygmunt Klimowicz (Malgorzata), and Peter Klimowicz (Urszula), and sister in laws Bozena Klimowicz and Ania Prykiel (Chester) and mother in law Wanda Pisinska and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Jan and Apolonia Klimowicz, brothers Eugene Klimowicz (Jadwiga), John Klimowicz, and Paul Klimowicz, and father in law Stefan Pisinski. 

Services will be held at the Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa in St. Anne’s Chapel on Wednesday June 9, 2021. Viewing will begin at 11:30am followed by Mass at 12:30pm and burial.  In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Teresa’s name to the Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa.
