Clara L. (Saldutti) Corrado, 102 years old, of Lansdale, Pa, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, July 13, 2021. She was the devoted and loving wife of the late Charles J. Corrado Sr.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of late Carmine A. and Rosina (Colucci) Saldutti. She was predeceased by all 11 brothers and sisters, her son Charles J. Corrado Jr, her daughter Sandra A. Koder and son-in-law George E. Koder Sr.
Since 1939, Clara has been a resident of Lansdale and a devoted and active member of St. Stanislaus Church. Clara’s service to the church and community included work at St. Mary’s Manor, St. Stanislaus Senior Club and helping to clean the altar at church.
Clara enjoyed TV stardom as she was featured on the Cooking Channel with Mo Rocca on his show called My Grandmother’s Ravioli. Clara attributes her successful life and longevity to a never-ending smile, good food, a positive attitude, and frequent gatherings with family, especially the little ones who she loved dearly.
Survivors include two grandsons, George E. Koder Jr. and Shawna (deceased) and Michael C. and Karen Koder of Lansdale, 4 great-grandsons, Maxwell R. and Adela Koder, Michael X. and Julia Koder, Brandon J. Koder and Sean Heck as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Lansdale, Pa. Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM, Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM, followed by the interment at the Church Cemetery. Clara held deep love and concern for the well-being of children. In lieu of flowers please contribute to a charity of your choice that is devoted to the care and safety of children.

Clara leaves a big legacy and so much love. After a visit with her I would leave with a big smile on my face and heart. I’m sure everyone that knew her would agree. She was a great example of how to live a good life.

Aunt Clara, I shall miss you so very much, more than I can express. And you were the only relative that liked our dog, Gracie!! That says alot. You had love for all. It was a privilege being your niece.
