Dolores C. Burdsall (nee Senger), age 83, of Lansdale, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2021, in her home. She was born in February 1938 to Michael and Dolores Senger in Philadelphia, where she was raised. Dolores went on to marry her teenage sweetheart, Herbert F. Burdsall, in June 1959 at Our Lady Help of Christians in Abington, Pennsylvania.
A bookkeeper by trade, Dolores most recently worked for Continental Baking Co. in Philadelphia until her retirement in 2000. She loved to travel, especially driving trips to Florida for annual vacations to visit family in the state. Dolores also loved the three “B”s: bowling, bingo and babies, and was known for her welcoming, kind heart and a “love one another” philosophy on life, which she credited to her father.
Dolores is survived by her husband of more than 62 years, Herbert; their four children, Frederick (Allison), Christopher (Deborah), Dolores and Veronica (Anthony); three brothers, Joseph (Veronica), James (Joann), and Louis (Linda); four grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Michael, and her sister, Marie.
Private services will be held for close family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ALSAC/St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or on their website at https://www.stjude.org/donate/donate-to-st-jude.html.
