And now; I am truly alone…
No longer can I invoke the privilege-of-child; the ability to “ask mom” or “ask dad”.
I will no longer hear he answer in the same way – lonely
I have missed my father; and now my mother; with her gentle balance.
They were strong persons. I must remember they could have only created a strong person; and that person – me.
Goodbye Mom. Goodbye Dad – Until we meet again
Look for me when I arrive, and help me learn the ways
Mom, we will miss you.
