Giacomo (Jack) Zampirri—9/13/2021

Giacomo (Jack) Zampirri, 90, of Hatfield, Pa., died Monday, September 13, 2021.

He was born September 21, 1930, to Angelo and Rose Zampirri.

His proudest achievements were his family.

He is predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Joan, who died February 20, 2004. a son, Philip who died at age 25, March 22, 1986, and a daughter, Donna who died January 1, 2019.

He is survived by his sons, Giacomo (Kathleen Tennett) of Hatfield and Daniel (Kim) of Upper Black Eddy, Pa. He had 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Anthony of Oreland and his wife Reba, Palmina of Philadelphia, Anna of Jupiter, Fla., Johnny of Philadelphia, and Rosemarie of Souderton and her husband, Joe.

Jack loved hunting and fishing. He was a long-time parishioner of St. Maria Goretti, at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 1601 Derstine Rd, Hatfield, PA 19440

Friends and family are invited to his Funeral Mass, Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 2 pm at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 1601 Derstine Rd, Hatfield, PA 19440. Viewing and visitation hours precede the service from noon to 1:45 pm. Interment at Holy Sepulchre.

Pallbearers are his sons, Giacomo and Daniel, and grandsons, Danny, Chris, Tyler, Alex, Joshua, and Nicky.

  1. I knew Jack when we both worked at Nash Elementary School years ago. We kept in touch, exchanging birthday and Christmas cards every year. I was just about to send Jack’s birthday card when I saw he had passed. He was a wonderful, kind man. May he Rest In Peace.
