Alberta (Ruby) Wolf—10/7/2021

Alberta (Ruby) Marie Wolf aka Blue Eyed Cherokee, 77, of North Wales, Pa., and Fort Myers, Florida, entered God’s arms October 7, 2021, in Hope Hospice (Cape Coral) Florida.

Born September 18, 1944, in Shenandoah, Pa., to the late Helen and Albert Romonousky. She was married to Burton Wolf, November 30, 1980, and enjoyed their more than 40 years together.

Alberta was employed at Merck Sharpe & Dohme for more than 30 years and enjoyed an early retirement.

She loved to travel, especially on cruises, but she had a special place in her heart for Ocean City, Maryland, and Florida. She was known for cooking her “famous” sauerkraut soup and ham and cabbage.

Alberta loved family time,. She hosted many extravagant holiday dinner gatherings. She went above and beyond for her family.

She loved her “girls” trips, being in charge and having a good night out.

She attended church weekly and generously donated to multiple foundations for the needy.

Alberta is survived by her husband, Burton Wolf, 2 children—daughter Lisa Messina and son-in-law Gregorio Messina, and son Kenneth Schlauch and daughter-in-law Patricia Clark, Stepchildren; Burt Wolf, Tara Wolf and Nicole Wolf. Grandchildren; Krista Schlauch, Gregory Messina, Alissa Messina-Wilkinson, Tyler Schlauch, Samantha Schlauch, great grandson Luciano Messina and her little protector (Yorkie mix) Cuddles Wolf. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Alberta’s Funeral Mass on Friday morning, 11 am. October 15, 2021, at St. Rose of Lima, 424 South Main Street, North Wales, PA 19454, where the family will receive friends in church prior to Mass, beginning at 9:30 am. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting, Pa.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Alberta Wolf can be made to Saint Rose of Lima Church in North Wales, Pa.; St.Jude Children’s Hospital or the American Diabetes Association.

  2. No words can express how grateful I am for 52 years of friendship. My memories are both happy, sad and crazy. Love and prayers of peace to Lisa, Kenny and Burt. Her grandchildren were always a topic of conversation filled with love and pride. RIP my friend …… Mary Mascaro.
