Lois was an extremely loving, caring, generous mother and grandmother always putting her family first. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and she will be so dearly missed. 1. Good bye my our dear Friend! Don’t think we will ever be able to play hand and foot again!
Will miss your sweet smile!!! Pc

  2. Today I attended your mother’s funeral. I’m sure she is very pleased. The beautiful chapel, lovely music and comforting words of the mass were perfect. She always made me feel comfortable and special, and I had that feeling after the service. Rest in peace. She was a true friend, wonderful neighbor, and a lovely lady. Fondly Peggy

  3. Lois had a love of all things; her children, her grandchildren, her friends and neighbors, her home and her flowers. She always had a smile, a thoughtful word, advice when needed and she brought joy to all who knew her. I cherish our conversations about families, books, flowers, cooking and life. My prayers are with her family through this difficult time. Please know that Lois is treasured by all who knew her and her memory will live forever in our hearts. I will deeply miss my friend.

  4. Lois will live forever in our hearts. She was my best friend for almost 60 years and we spoke every week. She was kind and generous and loved her family so much. I am thankful for all the memories and holidays we shared with all of you. She will be missed. Love you all, Yvonne and Bob

  5. So sad to hear of Lois’s passing. I spent many hours on her back patio drinking coffee and enjoying her baked goods. We always had to have something sweet while discussing everything and anything! She had the most beautiful gardens and was always out taking care of them. I loved her friendship and will really miss having her next door. My sincerest sympathy to Susan, Dina, Nicole, Rudi and their families.

  6. Lois loved life; her family, her friends, her home and her flowers. She spent hours promoting good will and donating time to all. We met 5 years ago in book club, Lois graciously offered to teach us how to play Hand and Foot. Many hours were passed with conversation, giggles, good food and warm friendship. She always had time to listen and willingly shared a comforting word. Lois will by missed, her passing has left a hole in many of our lives. Sending prayers to children and grandchildren during this time. Please know that all who knew and loved her will keep her alive in our memories.

    • Saying goodbye to Lois is almost unthinkable. We met when we were 14 and stayed close right up to being seniors. Lois was my closest link and ally to coming of age. Through high school and dating, becoming very young mothers and wives, through life events with all they can bring, we were close friends. She championed any trumph or joy, and shared and felt your pain and worry. She faced her illness and fears with dignity and bravery.
Her family, children and grandchildren, were truly always her world. If anything is to be Lois’s legacy, it is that Family is Everything.
And if Faith is to be rewarded, then Lois is indeed again with Rudi…as it should be.

  7. Lois was such a pleasure to be with. We will miss her! Our sympathy to the family she was devoted to and took such pride in. May you find comfort, peace and strength now and in the days ahead. Sue and Steve (Arbour friends)

She also shared New Years Eve with the card club. We all wore lots of beads and a crown so much fun. I will miss Lois she was a special women and friend. She is home with the Lord and at peace.
