Mary Jenny Reynolds, 96, formerly of Ambler, Pa., died peacefully, on March 31, 2022, in Grand View Hospital.
She was born January 20, 1926, in Ambler, Pa., to parents Henry Balestrieri and Pasqualina Pimpenella. She attended St. Joseph’s Elementary School in Ambler. She was once the second runner up for Miss Personality of North Wales. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Reynolds loved her family above all else. She is survived by her son, Fred Reynolds (Susan) of Clearwater, FL, and daughters Lisa Robey (Chris) of Souderton and Lena Barker (George) of Harleysville, 8 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. Her beloved husband of 50 years, John, died on November 6, 2004. Their son, Robert Reynolds, died March 6, 1971. She had three brothers and one sister who predeceased her: Herman, James and Rick Balestrier, and Lucy LePore.
She is survived by two sisters: Edith Cooper of Lansdale and Jean Balestrieri of Florida and a brother, Joseph Balestrieri of Hatboro.
She was a long-time resident of Dock Manor in Lansdale and later in Souderton.
She and her husband volunteered to run St. Stanislaus’ Garage Sales.
Her Funeral Mass will be held at 10 am, Friday, April 8th at St. Stanislaus Church, 51 Lansdale Ave, Lansdale, where the family will receive friends beginning at 9 AM, prior to Mass. Interment at George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting.
In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions in Mary’s name to the American Heart Association or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
