Joan “Joanie” (Gilbert) Simes, 91, of Montgomery Township, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2022.

Born in Oneida, NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Gilbert and Margaret Grant.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed being with family. She is survived by her sons Gordon (Marlene), of Montgomery Township; Howard A. Jr. (Sue) of Telford, Pa., and Gerald Ivanowicz of Hatfield. Additionally, she is survived by five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Hoard A. Simes, Sr., and her daughter Joan “Peggy” Swartz Keyser.

A “Celebration of Life” will be conducted at a later date (details will be forthcoming in the near future); internment will be private at the family’s convenience.
