Robert “Bob” Collins, age 70, died, Sunday, May 29, 2022, at his home in Colmar, Pa., surrounded by his family.
Born in Philadelphia, on September 6, 1951, he is was the son of David and Sandra (nee Intorre).
He was the loving husband of Annemarie (nee Senske) Collins for nearly 40 years.
He proudly served his country with the U.S. Navy. After his time in the military, he became a Philadelphia police officer. He later began his own towing business. His most recent job, was as a driver for a construction company.
Mr. Collins was a member of the Teamsters Local 107.
He was an American Flyer Train enthusiast and also an avid fisherman and golfer.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two loving daughters, Kelly Miller and her husband Kevin and Colleen Collins, adoring grandchildren, Emma, Ryan, and Charlotte, a brother Joseph and his wife Sue, in-laws Francis and Karen Senske and John and Marge Senske, many nieces and nephews as well as granddog Charlie.
Robert’s family will receive friends and family on Saturday June 4, 2022, from 9 AM to 12 PM, at Simcox-McIlvaine Funeral Home, 532 E. Main St, Lansdale, PA 19446, followed by a Service at 12 noon. Interment at a later date at Washington’s Crossing National Cemetery.
