Inger Birgitta Tomchewsky, age 80,  of Philadelphia, formerly of Oreland, passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at her home after a brief illness. Born in Gothenburg, Sweden, she immigrated to the United States as a young woman. She met and married her husband, the late Harry Tomchewsky, who died unexpectedly in October of 1985. 
Mrs. Tomchewsky enjoyed gardening.
She is survived by her son Michael Tomchewsky and his wife Sharon, grandsons, Jackson and Harry, as well as her longtime partner Joseph Sullivan.  
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service, on Monday, July 18, 2022, at 10 AM, at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3301 W. Cheltenham Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19150.  Please meet at the Main Cemetery Office (at the main entrance off Cheltenham Ave) at 9:50 AM to join the procession to the gravesite.
