Christine R. (Ronto) Greer—10/19/2022

Christine R. (Ronto), Greer, Age 89, of Harleysville, died Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery.

She was the beloved wife of 56 years to her deceased husband, Thomas Patrick “Pat” Greer, Sr. Born and raised in Phoenixville, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth Ronto.

Chris enjoyed doing crafts and needlework, playing bingo, doing crossword puzzles, and playing Yahtzee, but mostly spending time with her enormous family and celebrating holiday traditions together. She always loved bringing everyone together to bake for holidays. She was a devout Catholic of Saint Stanislaus parish most of her life.

Chris and Pat were well known in the area for their homemade jam and pickle stand in front of their Lansdale home where everyone was always welcome.

She is the loving mother of Thomas P Greer, Jr., Kathy Finch, Daniel Greer (Sue), Marie Rutherford (Benito), Mary Jane Saylor, and Michael Greer. Mrs. Greer is the loving grandmother to Jennifer, Raymond, Brian, Drew, Brendan, Allissa, Amy, Aly, Joseph, Stacey, Cristin, Kevin, Peter, Diana, Daniel, John, Robert, and Ryan; and great-grandmother to 27 children.

Her strong faith carried her through many difficult losses. She was preceded in death by her son Joseph R. Greer (Michele), her three grandsons, Timmy Panoc, Matt, and Jeff Biehn, as well as her son in law Jim Saylor, and daughter-in-law Joan Greer and her 4 brothers and 4 sisters.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Christine’s Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at 10:30 AM at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 51 Lansdale Avenue, Lansdale, PA 19446, where the, family will receive friends in Church, prior to Mass, beginning at 9 AM. Interment St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Saint Stanislaus church at the address above.
