Linda Bossert Crawford, age 75, of Lansdale, PA, died January 8, 2023 surrounded by loved ones after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
She was born in Lansdale to parents, Russell Bergey and Alice (nee. Bennett) Bossert.
Mrs. Crawford was a member of the North Penn Class of 1965 where she played varsity basketball throughout high school.
She was married for 55 years to her husband, James B. Crawford, Jr.
She worked at Westover Country Club, John Wanamaker’s and Willow Grove Bank.
Mrs. Crawford was active in St. Stanislaus Parish and in her earlier years, she was a volunteer at many of their events. She enjoyed time with family and friends and especially loved her role as a grandmother. She treasured her grandchildren and never missed one of their sporting events or activities.
Her summers were spent at the beach vacationing with family. One of her most cherished memories was celebrating her 50th wedding anniversary with family on a Disney Cruise. She did not let her cancer diagnosis hold her down as she continued exercising in the pool at the YMCA several times a week.
In addition to family, Mrs. Crawford enjoyed spending time with friends. Whether she was at a summer concert in the park or dining at a restaurant, she valued the happiness and laughter that each and everyone of them brought to her.
In addition to her husband, James B. Crawford, Jr., she is survived by loving children, Ronald Crawford (Jennifer), Jill Crawford Jones (Jason) and Dawn Crawford. She is also survived by her grandchildren Avery, Cayla, Emily, Ryan, Cameron, and Connor.
She had two sisters, Barbara Coughlin and the late Dolores Ziegler, one brother, Steven Bossert and one brother-in-law, the late Michael Crawford. In addition, she had many nieces, nephews and cousins
