Robert (Bob) M. Ubele—2/9/2023

Robert (Bob) M. Ubele, 77, of Hatfield, died Thursday, February 9, 2023.  He was the loving husband of Patricia A. (McGinn) Ubele. They were happily together for 37 years.

Born May 20, 1945, in Philadelphia, Bob was the son of the late Russell N. and Jamesina (Smith) Ubele.

Bob proudly served in the Army Reserve and was an electronics technician in the semi-conductor industry. He was employed with Allegro Micro-Semi Conductors in Willow Grove for 17 years before retiring in 2001.

Bob had many interests, including antique shopping, “Hot Wheel” collecting, and street rods. He was a member of the Cedar Hollow Timing Association. He was also an avid Eagles and Phillies fan. Bob and his family shared many good memories during his time residing in Wildwood Crest, NJ.

In addition to his wife, Bob is survived by his children and step-children, David C. Leach (Kristen), Timothy P. Leach (Kathy), Tara E. Drop (Dan), Jill Kramer (Richard), Robert Ubele, Margo Ubele, and Patricia J. Maier (Andy); along with thirteen grandchildren, who lovingly called him “Grumps”. He is survived by two brothers, Harry Ubele (Sandra), and Stanley Ubele (Victoria).  

Bob was preceded in death by his brother Russell Ubele.

Relatives and friends may call from 9:00am-10:15am, Monday February 20, 2023 at St. Stanislaus Church, 51 Lansdale Avenue Lansdale, PA , followed by Mass at 10:30am. Burial will be private at a later date.

  1. I worked with Bob at Allegro, Willow Grove. He was always a kind and lovely gentleman. I saw him at a car show in Hatboro, showing off his car and truly happy at something he enjoyed with his wife and friends.
