Joseph Gerald Leonard, age 90, of Lansdale passed away peacefully on February 7, 2023.  He was the beloved husband of the late Patricia (nee. Jolly) Leonard who passed away in October of 2020.

Raised in Mount Carmel, PA, he was the son of the late Michael and Margaret (nee. Kellegher) Leonard.  

A veteran of the US Navy, he served his country honorably during the Korean War. 
He was a foreman at Airco Corporation, working in the Industrial Gas Industry.  
In his free time he enjoyed hunting.  

Surviving are three loving children, sons, Joe Leonard and his wife Judy, and Tom Leonard and his wife Janet, as well as daughter Patti Gorman and her husband Joe.  Also surviving are grandchildren, Raychel, Melissa, Joe, Jim, Katie, Tommy and Mike and one great grandchild, Haven.  

He was preceded in death by grandchildren, Kristy and Brady.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing from 2 to 4 PM on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at Simcox-McIlvaine Funeral Home, 532 E. Main St., Lansdale, PA 19446, followed by a service at 4 PM.  Burial will be at Washington’s Crossing National Cemetery, in Newtown, with Military Honors on Friday, February 17, 2023.
