Robert E. Kearns, of Lansdale, Pa., died June 25, 2023, in Plymouth Meeting, Pa.
He was born, February 25, 1937, in Philadelphia, to James Kearns and Mary (nee Mara).
He graduated from Roman Catholic High School in Philadelphia. He also graduated from Philadelphia College of Textile & Sciences, Bachelor of Science and Saint Joseph’s University, Master of Business Administration.
Bob served in the United States Army. He was a controller for Leeds & Northrup for many years. Post retirement he was employed by ACTs Community and Safeguard in Lansdale.
His hobbies were reading, solving crossword puzzles, cooking new recipes, and spending time with family and friends around the table. He enjoyed traveling and many winters on Anna Maria Island, Florida.
He is survived by his children Timothy Michael Kearns of Royersford, Pa., Colette Marie Kearns of Lansdale, Pa., Ellen Marie Friend, Royersford, Pa. (Daniel J. Friend, Jr.) and Lorene Kearns-Cassiano (John), Harrisburg, Pa. He is also survived by grandchildren Shane Kearns, Corey Kearns, Cassandra Kearns, Courtney Kearns, Emma Friend, and Madison Friend, and a great-grandson, Mason Hall. He is also survived by his sister, Denise Curran (Jim) and Michael Kearns.
He is predeceased by his wife, M. Colette Kearns (nee May), a son, Gregory Patrick Kearns, and a granddaughter, Jillian Kearns.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday morning, June 30, 2023, at 11:00 am at Corpus Christi Church, 900 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale, Pa., 19446. Viewing will precede the service from 9:00am to 10:45 am in the church Narthex. Burial will be at St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont, Pa.

The world lost a truly wonderful man. I’m so grateful that I had the privilege to have Bob and Colette Kearns in my life.
